Admissions to PhD (Full-Time / Part-Time) Program

IIIT Vadodara invites applications from highly motivated students/ professionals (from academia/ industry/ government organization) for admission to its PhD program for the semester, Winter 2024-25.
The program comprises one-two semesters of intensive course work followed by a minimum of two and half years of research. Students are expected to demonstrate excellence in the research area via quality publications in reputed journals or conferences.

PART TIME
  • Duration: Minimum 3 years
  • Teaching Assistanceship:

    • 37,000 (first 2 years)
    42,000 (next 3 years)

  • Financial support for workshop and national/international conferences.
  • GATE qualification is not mandatory.
  • Duration: Minimum 3.5 years
  • Physical presence may be waived for the coursework.
  • Credit transfer of SWAYAM courses.
  • Access to institute resources.
  • Special Provision for candidates with 5+ yrs of experience: Coursework may be waived.
  • GATE qualification is not mandatory.

  • Engineering (CSE & ECE):  Cryptography, Information & Cyber Security, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Image & Video Processing, AR/VR, Computational Music, VLSI Design and Embedded Systems, Nano electronics, Wireless Communications, Wireless Sensor Networks, Signal Processing for Communication, 5G/6G communications and relevant areas in CSE & ECE.
  • Sciences:  Quantum Systems, Physics of Semiconductor Devices, Cryptography, Algebra.
  • Humanities:  Science Technology and Society studies.
